I am interested in learning a musical instrument what should I do?

To enquire about music lessons in piano, oboe, ukuele, music theory or singing please contact me using the contact method on this website. I shall aim to get back to you within 48 hours.

How are you teaching in the current climate?

Lessons are available face to face or online. Please let me know in advance of your lesson if you would like to trial the technology and setup of instruments etc. before the lesson.

I already know a little bit about my instrument/singing do I have to start from the beginning?

You do not have to start at the beginning. During the first lesson we shall go through what level you are to see if you are a beginner or have had some previous experience on your chosen instrument/voice. We shall then base future lessons on this.

How long do the lessons last?

Lessons are usually 30 minutes or an hour.

How much do you charge for lessons?

Lessons cost £15 for half an hour and £30 for an hour.

Do I need to own a piano to have online piano lessons?

A keyboard or a piano can be used for this.

Do I have to enter exams?

Exams are optional if you would like to we can work towards exams.

What do I do if I can't make a lesson which is booked?

There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. Any missed or cancelled lesson within 48 hours of the lesson start time is subject to payment of the full lesson.
